The Group’s involvement in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) actions worldwide are directly inscribed in its vocation. This mission to care through our actions was materialized by the launch of the Mécénat Servier Endowment Fund in November 2016. Our Fund’s goal is to promote and take part in community-interest activities or projects, both directly and indirectly, in France and around the world, for actions that align with our Group’s values:

To do so, we first and foremost provide financial support for our partners. We also offer opportunities for our employees to make a direct commitment alongside these organizations through skills-based volunteering and Congé Solidaire® (with Planète Urgence).
We offer four different forms of engagement for our employees. They are based on: sharing and transmitting skills, professional or personal know-how all through the donation of time. Skills-based volunteering and Congé Solidaire® are the first two examples. Employees can also make financial donations (round up their salary as a donation) or take collective action through the Congé Solidaire® team initiatives which supporting public interest organizations.

The Mécénat Servier Endowment Fund has a Selection Committee, which meets once a quarter. It defines the priority action areas for the coming tax year, approves proposals for charity partnerships, monitors projects and ensures the budget’s effective management (€990,000). It is made up of active 6 members.
