Read on to learn more about our initiatives and the inspiring stories behind them.
Lighting up stars in China
In Yushu, Qinghai, at an altitude of 4,200 meters, there are children who face immense challenges. Most of them are left behind because their parents work far away from home for lengthy periods. Others are orphans who have nowhere to live other than at school. They struggle with a severe shortage of educational resources, with only 100 teachers for 49 schools, as well as inadequate personal hygiene due to long, bitterly cold winters, with only icy water to wash with, leading to serious health problems.
In response to this situation, Servier China and Share the Care Volunteer Organization are launching the Light up a Star program.
We are committed to ensuring education reaches every corner, and warmth fills every life!
declares the program leader
By mobilizing Servier employees, the 2-year Cloud Teaching project will involve employee volunteers, delivering 48 online courses (e.g. first Aid Knowledge, medication usage basics, history, geography, physics and astronomy) to meet the learning needs of over 600 children. Additionally, they will construct two shower facilities for two local schools, serving over 600 students, and donate 2,100 hygiene kits, benefiting 2,100 children thanks to Mécénat Servier’s support.
We are proud to support the children of Yushu and contribute to their educational and living conditions.

Dynamo Camp family program in Italy
In Italy, our support to Dynamo Camp offers cost-free recreational therapy programs for children and adolescents with serious or chronic illnesses, neurodevelopmental disorders, and disabilities, along with their siblings and other family members.
Established in 2007, the Dynamo Camp Foundation is dedicated to support the right to happiness, improving the quality of life of children and adolescents affected by serious health conditions and their families. This initiative mirrors France’s L’ENVOL program, part of the international SeriousFun Children’s Network founded by Paul Newman. Mécénat Servier will fund two sessions of the program for 30 families, benefiting a total of 110 individuals per year.
The program consists of a completely cost-free holiday for children, adolescents and their families at the Camp based in Tuscany where they will participate in a variety of recreational therapy activities, such as Radio Dynamo, Dynamo Dogs, art laboratories, climbing, and swimming.
Did you know? In Italy, over 316,000 severely ill children and adolescents do not receive adequate support. |
Dynamo Camp is a lifeline for families facing immense challenges.

Thanks to the support of Dynamo Camp, Servier Italy will mobilize their employees in training programs and volunteering activities to increase diversity and inclusion sensitiveness and personal involvement in concrete social responsibility programs.
These projects address critical needs as well as embody our commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.
