Another year has passed, marked by the tireless commitment and dedication shown by Mécénat Servier Charity Fund and the Group’s employees to support causes promoting solidarity. Each initiative carries a story within it, and transforms a future. Discover the testimonials shared by Ana Cristina, Brindusa and Aya, whose lives were impacted by our actions in 2023-24.
Offering a future for young mothers in Colombia with the Juanfe Foundation
According to its national demographic and health survey (ENDS) from 2015, Colombia is one of the Latin American countries that is most affected by pregnancies involving young mothers in precarious conditions. Nearly 17% of girls aged 15 to 19 have already been pregnant, and one in five mothers is a teenager.
Faced with this reality, the Juanfe Foundation is working to break the cycle of poverty by providing young mothers with vocational training, psychosocial support, healthcare access and childcare services.
Supporting this cause, Servier Colombia took action alongside the foundation by organizing workshops where young mothers were able to share their life experiences and benefit from professional advice to help them build their futures.

Training a new generation of teachers in Bulgaria and Romania with Teach For All
In many rural parts of Bulgaria and Romania, a lack of qualified staff and infrastructure deprives thousands of children of access to a good quality of education.
To address this inequality, the nonprofit organization Teach For All has developed a comprehensive teacher training program to improve levels of teaching in these underprivileged regions. Mécénat Servier provided financial support and helped recruit around 20 teachers, who were trained on modern teaching methods and digital tools.

Inspiring careers among middle school students in France through discovery work placements
For the past seven years, Mécénat Servier has partnered with the nonprofit Un Stage et Après to promote equal opportunities and open up the business world to young people.
This partnership involves both financial and human support, particularly through skills-based sponsorship. Every year, Servier also welcomes around 20 middle-school students for observation work placements. An immersive experience that enables them to discover different career paths, potentially inspiring them to work in the health sector.
