We firmly believe that future generations are instrumental in passing on the values of commitment and solidarity that hold such importance for Mécénat Servier. That is why we are committed to cultivating a taste for learning through our outreach programs focused on education and access to culture.
Through the initiatives we support, we strive to promote a spirit of openness and interaction, based on being curious, uninhibited and willing to share with one another.
Servier welcomes middle schoolers from Un Stage et Après
We have partnered with Un Stage et Après for seven years, introducing students to a professional work environment and familiarizing them with our company. Together, we live out our shared commitment to equal opportunity.
“Over the years, a solid partnership based on mutual trust has been forged. If I had to highlight two things, it would be Mécénat Servier’s commitment and their loyalty, both of which are extremely valuable to us.”
Omar Benlaala, Head of Pedagogy
“Through this internship, I was able to learn about the pharmaceutical industry. I had been thinking about a career in science, and this experience confirmed my desire to follow that path.”

Giving children an appetite for learning with Espérance banlieues
The Espérance banlieues network strives to prevent dropout by creating innovative schools in underserved neighborhoods in France and by offering personalized, caring support to students. This year, we are celebrating the fifth anniversary of our partnership. Throughout this time, we have backed many network projects, including three in 2023-2024.
“It was a very rewarding and moving day for me. I was amazed by the respectful attitude shown by everyone and the discipline of the children, from the youngest to the oldest. I wish I could have spent more time helping all the pupils!”
Florence Mortier, Servier volunteer

Cultivating creativity
1,846 children with little access to cultural institutions have been introduced to art courtesy of the Mécénat Servier contribution to the Art in Immersion program offered by Fonds de dotation Culture pour l’Enfance. They visited immersive digital exhibitions at the Atelier des Lumières in Paris, the Bassin des Lumières in Bordeaux, and the Carrières des Lumières in Baux-de-Provence.
IN BRIEF
FRANCE: Through the Action+ program offered by the ACTION ENFANCE foundation, 81 young people over the age of 18 who grew up in homes for children and teens were able to find employment. FRANCE: A Servier employee set up and ran Art dans la Cité “Illuminart” workshops for ten hospitalized children at Necker Hospital in Paris. This innovative experience brightened up the children’s daily lives and introduced them to art.

Instilling a love of reading with 1001mots
The period from birth to three years of age is the most conducive to language development. Mécénat Servier has made a three-year commitment to the 1001mots nonprofit to help guide parents in the Yvelines department in developing their children’s language skills.
“The 1001mots program is fun and helps us as parents to develop our children’s literacy skills on a daily basis. We are given good advice and personalized support, and we have access to a library of brand-new books, suitable for each child’s age. I am very grateful to the French Maternal and Child Protection Services (PMI) for telling me about 1001mots.”
