Launched in October 2023 by Mécénat Servier, the senior skills-based sponsorship program allows Servier employees in France who so wish to complete the last two years of their career by committing 100% of their time to a charitable cause.

Last November, Servier employee Véronique Cope joined the teams of the French Federation of Food Banks to begin her one-year senior skills-based sponsorship assignment.

In this video, we meet her during her immersive internship at the Hérault Food Bank, where she received hands-on training about the daily work and logistics of the food bank.

I fully believe in the merits of this senior skills-based sponsorship program, which allows me to put my professional skills to work for a nonprofit organization.

Mécénat Servier’s program allows Servier employee to be seconded to a nonprofit organization to provide a smooth transition to retirement.
